Hi. listening to your podcast has prompted me to ask about ‘overlaying a waypoint’ on a track to draw attention to a part of the track that you are getting near to such as a complicated / hidden /unmarked entrance to a walking path. This is to get the Garmin unit to give an audible beep when approaching the time to turn. I have seen this but cannot remember where or how to do it. The other option have used is setting a proximity alarm so as I get to within 5 or 10 metres the unit will alert me. Obviously this only applies to tracks downloaded not routes. But on the longer tracks down loaded as gpx files being able to highlight a particular turn or direction so it’s not missed can be useful.
